Download Wallet APP

You can download wallets that support FEVM, such as MetaMask, etc. Subsequent tutorials will be written with the MetaMaskwallet;

Create or import a wallet

1. Create a wallet

• Download the wallet, enter the APP and choose to create a wallet, enter the wallet password to complete the creation

• After the wallet is created, back up the mnemonic phrase (in order to ensure the security of your wallet funds, please make sure to back up immediately after the creation is complete)

2 . Import wallet

If you have created a wallet, you can import it through the wallet mnemonic

• Select Import Wallet, enter the mnemonic phrase and wallet password on the import page to import

Add network

• By default, the MetaMask plugin installation supports the ETH main chain wallet. If you want to use the Filecoin ecosystem, you need to manually add the FIL chain to MetaMask.

Transferred assets to Filecoin-EVM

• Select Receive Assets on the Wallet Assets page to view the currency receiving address or QR code.

When receiving the assets, please confirm that the address prefix starts with 0X or F4, and the FIL with the address prefix F1 is not interoperable with the assets of F4 or 0X; you can also check the F4 address through the address of 0X on filfox.io
